Sweet P’s Bake Shop is partnering with Gabby’s Dollhouse, the popular DreamWorks Animation show streaming on Netflix, for a 12-week back-to-school themed partnership.

The Don Boyd Summer Youth Camp, a project of the Concerned Black Men of Lufkin, has served underprivileged youths in Angelina County for more than 40 years. A grant from the Brookshire Brothers Charitable Foundation goes toward hiring certified instructors and pays for instructional materials in order to maintain the high quality standards set by the program.

With plans to break ground on a new fire station, the Corrigan Volunteer Fire Department held its Annual Fund Drive and reached out to Brookshire Brothers for support.

Twice a month at Tejas Baptist Church, the Heavenly Blessings Food Pantry distributes food boxes to more than 150 residents from Colmesneil, Doucette, Rockland and Rocky Springs, Texas. Brookshire Brothers gift cards, donated through a Brookshire Brothers Charitable Foundation grant, help supplement when necessary.
