So we started a Blueberry Farm... What were we thinking? After a trip to the California wine country in 2005, we decided we wanted to plant a vineyard. We had the available land, had the soil tested, and realized it was not suitable so much for wine grapes as it would be for blueberries.

Each year, Brookshire Brothers hosts a fundraiser during National Library Awareness Week in support of the Coldspring Area Public Library (CAPL). This year, they raised an incredible $2,364 from April 7-13.

Summer Pasta Salad is a quick and easy side dish for all of your upcoming summer festivities!

Bring a medium saucepan filled with water to a rapid boil. Add 1 tbsp salt, then add lemon halves and shrimp. Turn the heat off immediately and allow shrimp to slowly poach for 2-3 minutes until fully pink.
