Full of Thanks

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. Many in my family love to cook and we always have delicious food, but more importantly, my family has a tradition we call, “Share Time.” One by one, from the youngest to the oldest, we share what we are thankful for and then encourage another member of our family to do the same. It’s a sweet time for our family to be together and remember what has happened over the year. I hope you have time, as you make your Thanksgiving plans, to gather around a table with your family and friends and share why you are thankful this year.

Selfies & Sutter Home Deliver Hope

Get involved with Sutter Home's campaign for hope by sharing a Sutter Home wine selfie using the #sutterhomeforhope. For every selfie received, Sutter Home will donate $1 to National Breast Cancer Foundation, up to $50,000. Everyone at Sutter Home are as committed as you are to showing support toward finding a cure in the fight against breast cancer, which is why the Sutter Home for Hope initiative began in 2001. Thanks to you, Sutter Home has been able to contribute over $900,000 to National Breast Cancer Foundation. The goal for this year is $1,000,000!

Mexican Independence Day

Although often confused with Cinco de Mayo, Mexican Independence Day, commemorated on September 16th, is the most important national holiday in Mexico. To commemorate the Mexican War of Independence in 1810, celebrations in Mexico and across the world will include parades, carnivals and more. Many locals choose to celebrate by spending time with family, eating great food, and watching a fireworks display - a celebration very similar to the Brookshire Brothers company message.
