Dutch Oven Nachos

Dutch Oven Nachos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1(1.25 oz) package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (15 oz) bag restaurant-style white corn tortilla chips 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup finely shredded taco-style cheese blend
  • 2 cups restaurant-style salsa
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Heat the Dutch oven over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking up

  2. Add taco seasoning and water, and simmer until the mixture has thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove
beef from oven and set aside.
  3. Clean the Dutch oven and spread a layer of tortilla chips over the bottom. Top with half of the ground beef
mixture and 1cup of cheddar cheese shreds.
  4. Top evenly with another layer of tortilla chips, remaining ground beef, and remaining cheese.
  5. Bake until cheese is melted and bubbling at the edges, about 10-12 minutes.
  6. Let nachos cool slightly before topping with salsa and dollops of sour cream. Garnish with
    cilantro and serve.
